COMMENTS

The girls came out ready to play, but mentally we had a slow start. DC seemed to have the momentum the entire first game. We just couldn’t keep the momentum going when we got on a run. The second and third games were the keys to how we can bounce back and get back to our game. We gave up too many points on serving, but fought back in some tough DC runs to pull out a win. The inconsistent play of the team is something we need to focus on to be successful in this last half of the season. Being mentally tough through every point with every player will be the key our success. We are off until next Tuesday where we face Albia at home. Albia is an improved team in the conference and we will have to mentally prepare for a tough match.
