County Attorney on shortlist for District Judge Position
From an official press release from the 8th District of the Iowa Judicial Branch:
The 8A Judicial Nomination Commission met and held interview on August 5 and 6, 2010 in the office of the 8th District Court Administration in Ottumwa, Wapello County Iowa.
In compliance with the provisions of Iowa Code Section 46.14, the following named persons:
Lucy Gamon
Rose Ann Mefford
were selected as nominees for the office of Judge of the District Court, 8A Judicial Election District, to fill the judicial vacancy.
Governor Culver will appoint one of the nominees within 30 days.
