Clean and Green teams up with City on Educating Public on City Codes

Oskaloosa, Iowa – In the past few years there has been a lot of discussion about city codes. Clean and Green along with the City of Oskaloosa thought that it would be beneficial for some codes to be presented to the public in layman terms. Hopefully people will understand the need for them.

Eight different codes were selected and one will be presented each week during the next eight weeks.

Each code will be a shortened version of the code. Each article will have the Oskaloosa Municipal Code website and the code number so you can read the actual code. Any exceptions to the basic code will not be listed in the article. If you feel you are an exception to the rule; you can log on and check it out.

The explanation will let you know if you are in violation or your concern about a violation.
