CHRISTMAS DINNER AND WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT CENTRAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Central United Methodist Church is offering the gift of a family Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day and we extend an invitation to the community to come and join us. Dinner will start at 11:30 A.M. While reservations are not required, they will be helpful in the meal planning. If you are interested in attending, please call the church office, 641-672-2564 by Tuesday, December 20th.

Worship and Advent activities include our traditional worship service at 9:00 A.M. on December 18th following by Sunday School or adult coffee time.

At 11:10 A.M. our Sunday School classes will be performing their Christmas programs: Hay! A Stable Experience presented by the preschool-first grade classes; followed by The First Leon presented by the upper elementary classes.

We will be offering three Christmas Eve services. A candlelight services at 4:00 and 6:30 P.M. and a candlelight and communion service at 11:00 P.M. Our communion is open to all.

Christmas Day there will be one church service at 9:00 A.M., which will also be broadcast on, AM 1040 KBOE. There will be no Sunday School on that day.

We will return to our regular worship schedule on January 1. We offer a Wesley (traditional) worship service at 9:00 A.M.; followed by Sunday School for ages 4 to 104 or adult coffee time. The Open Door (contemporary) worship service is offered at 11:10 A.M.

Our EPIC youth worship activities are held on Sunday evening from 5 to 7:30 P.M.
