Central offers wrestling camp

Central College

PELLA, Iowa —Central College will host a wrestling camp August 8-10.

The camp is for athletes in elementary, junior and senior high school and will be conducted from 6-8 p.m. each day at Central’s A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex.

Central’s head wrestling coach and 2010 Iowa Conference Coach of the Year Eric Van Kley will direct the camp. Assistant coach and Division III All-American Matt Diehl will join Van Kley as co-director. Several Central wrestlers will also help provide individualized instruction for each camp participant.

The camp focus will be on technical work, drills to develop technique and live wrestling. Cost is $75 for three days of camp and each camper will receive a free camp t-shirt.
