Casey’s General Store Fan Walk presented by Mello Yello to set new standard for fan experience at Iowa Speedway

NEWTON, IOWA (Feb. 24, 2011) — Thanks to title sponsorship from Casey’s General Store, Iowa Speedway’s popular Fan Walk is set to become a longer and more exciting journey.

The Casey’s General Store Fan Walk presented by Mello Yello spans the entire length of Pit Road – and for the first time will extend to the area previously occupied by the infield grandstands.

The sights, smells and sounds of top-level racing will merge with interactive displays where fans can enjoy free product samples, opportunities to meet drivers, a casual atmosphere and an up-close-and-personal view of Iowa Speedway’s state-of-the-art facility.

“Casey’s General Store has been a long time supporter of Iowa Speedway and this is yet another example of the Ankeny-based company’s generosity,” said Karen Owen, Iowa Speedway’s Sales Manager. “The Casey’s General Store Fan Walk presented by Mello Yello will be truly interactive, with fun activities for fans of all ages.”

Even better: Access to the Casey’s General Store Fan Walk presented by Mello Yello is free to season ticket holders, Newton Club members, suite ticket holders, and those who purchase one of the hospitality options, including the party deck, luxury suites, and hospitality chalets.

Access for other fans is still a bargain. Adult tickets cost just $10 per event and children ages 12-and-under are admitted free with a paying adult.

Fan Walk tickets can be purchased at ticket window No. 3 at the south end of the main concourse. That’s also the access point to the trams, which efficiently transport fans to and from the pit area on regular intervals.

Fans of all ages are welcome at the Fan Walk, but in accordance with Speedway policy, baby strollers are not allowed.
