Mahaska Season Championships Races Sees 2026 Track Champions Crowned at Southern Iowa Speedway

Nathan Wood, Keaton Gordon, Colton Livezey, Seth Meinders and Cole Hughes secured 2026 track championships Wednesday night at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa.

From No Program to 150 Students

Students take part in speed, agility, jumping and explosiveness testing during the district’s youth combine, which gave athletes in grades 7-12 an opportunity to measure their progress and showcase the work they put in throughout the summer training program.

More than 150 Oskaloosa students took part in the district’s summer athletic training program each week. The program ended with a youth combine measuring speed, agility, power and explosiveness.
