October 18, 2026

Miami, OK – No. 18 Indian Hills Men’s Soccer picked up its second consecutive win with a 2-1 victory on the road against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M on Sunday afternoon. The Warriors improve to 6-2-7 overall on the year.

The Warriors erased a 1-0 deficit with two goals in the second half to power past the Norsemen. The win is the first over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in two all-time meetings. The Warriors have now secured wins over teams from five different states on the year.

Trailing 1-0 in the 56th minute, the Warriors capitalized in the 60th minute with a goal from sophomore Leo Morley-Robertson (Colchester, England/Central CC) on an assist from Joao Silva (Funchal, Portugal/Murray State). Just over six minutes later, Indian Hills relied on the foot of its top goal scorer this season in Jules Dufour (Lille, France/St. Clair County). Dufour was on the receiving end of assists from Jacob Klein (Cedar Rapids, IA/George Washington) and Matus Velicky (Trnava, Slovakia/Jána Hollého) for the eventual gamewinner.

Freshman keeper Sean Suzuki (Sydney, Australia/Chatswood) and the Indian Hills defense blanketed the Norsemen over the final 24:00 of play to earn the victory. Suzuki stopped five shots in net for the Warriors.

With Dufour’s goal on Sunday, the sophomore leads the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) in both goals (8) and points (17) on the year.

Indian Hills has just two matches remaining in the regular season – both ICCAC contests against Iowa Western Community College. The Warriors will travel to Council Bluffs, IA to take on the Reivers on October 22 at 6:00 PM before the two sides meet in Des Moines, IA at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex for a neutral site contest October 30 at 1:00 PM. A win for the Warriors in either contest would push Indian Hills through to the upcoming National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men’s Soccer Midwest District Tournament with an automatic bid. The tournament is set for November 5-7 in Illinois.
