All You Need For A Successful Gathering Is Right At Home

Graduation Fair at Penn Central Mall on Saturday.

Oskaloosa, Iowa – It’s often thought that in order to host a successful gathering, a trip or call to a larger market for supplies or services is a necessary step.

Over the weekend, Penn Central Mall hosted a group of area businesses that helped to remind us that all we need and more, for a successful gathering, is right here in our own community. Approximately 20 area businesses took part in the fair.

Unique and fun activities like the ‘Magic Touch Screen Mirror’ that is available from Debbie’s Celebration Barn, or goodies like cupcakes, pizza and hot wings, visitors to the event got to touch and taste and see those creations by local talent.

Kayla Nelson with Penn Central Mall explained that the day was scheduled as a ‘Graduation Fair’ but it became apparent that that were so many different resources that moms and dads could use to help make graduation time easier to plan. Nelson said that the services offered go well beyond graduation parties as well.

Nelson said that the fair was helpful beyond those planning graduation parties, any other party or gathering. “This was a great place to come and get ideas.”
