2010: A year in review
It has been one heck of a year. On August 6th Osky News began serving the citizens of Oskaloosa and the surrounding areas. The first story we covered was the sweet corn serenade followed soon after by Dog Hollow Rendezvous. After a brief weekend reprieve, Osky News began covering the floods of 2010. That was the start of what has become a great adventure in local journalism. From the floods of 2010 to the homecoming activities, campaign 2010, and the devastating Precise Imaging fire, Osky News was there.
We would like to thank all of those who have helped out this year. A big thank you to Frugal Living Writer Martha Comfort, Writer Ginger Allsup, Writer Diane Mortensen, Writer Bob Leonard, Photographer Don Hubbard, and of course, Webmaster/Writer/Editor Ken Allsup. Without all of these people, Osky News would not be where it is today. We also would like to thank all of those who take the time to read our stories. We are still learning and look forward to continuing to report the news for you.
Below we have placed the headlines of stories of significance as well as the link to them. You may view these stories by clicking on the headline titles. We thank you for your support and wish you a happy New Year. We look forward to continuing to serve you in 2011.
