Oskaloosa Bowling Season Comes To An End
Oskaloosa Bowling Head Coach Tony Witt said that, “Unfortunately the boys fell short of qualifying for state. [I’m] very proud of how the boys bowled today. Dylan finished in third place, Sasha finished in fourth place and Clayton finished in 8th place in the singles. The boys finished in second place for team. The kids bowled well today and bowled above their average for the season but
Keokuk bowled on a whole different level today. They couldn’t miss today. Still a great season for the boys!!”
Witt said the girls teams also bowled above their season average, “but finished third overall and Chelsea finished in fourth place, Andrea finished in 8th place and Taylor finished in tenth place in the singles. The Keokuk girls were just too consistent today. The girls also had a great season and [I’m] very proud of the way they bowled today.”
“Overall it’s disappointing with how well the girls and boys bowled and for the season to not have anyone qualify for state,” said Witt in closing.
