7th Grade Girls Sweep Newton

The 7th grade girl’s returned to the court to verse Newton and for the second time this season won all 3 games! The A team came out aggressive and looked to attack led by Aby Thompson who was all over the court! The girls moved the ball well on offense and played tough defense, holding Newton scoreless to almost halftime! We saw a lot of things that we have been working on in practice getting put into use which was great! The A team evened their record to 3-3 winning 31-17.

The B team continued playing some good basketball and came out aggressive from the start! They found success on offense driving to the basket and getting it down in the post. The girls worked hard on the defensive end, hustling back and stopping the ball. The B teams improved its record to 4-1 winning 15-8.

The C team followed suit and came out attacking and aggressive. The girls also worked hard to get rebounds both on the offensive and defensive end! They worked hard on hustling back on defense and stopping the ball! The final score was 18-10.
