Mahaska County Soccer U10 Girls take first at Iowa Games

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Oskaloosa and Mahaska County have even more to smile about from the Iowa Games. The Mahaska County Soccer U10 Girls took home first place medals at the Iowa Games this past weekend in Ames. They beat Urbandale Friday, and Ames and Grundy Center on Saturday.
The Iowa Summer Games was celebrating it’s 25th Anniversary this year. Individuals that qualified were invited to the Opening Ceremony that was held at Jack Trice Stadium on Friday, July 15 in Ames. There, they will be recognized by ISF President , Jim Hallihan, and they will participate in the lighting of the Iowa Games Olympic Cauldron.
