Ottumwa Man Killed in Action in Afghanistan

The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of two airmen who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. The airmen died May 26 in the Shorabak district of Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with an improvised explosive device.
