‘The Real Deal’ Visits Oskaloosa School
Rocking blues band “Pete Neuman and the Real Deal” will be visiting the Oskaloosa Elementary School on Friday, March 4. Front man Pete Neuman will be speaking to a class of nearly 50 fourth grade students.
Neuman will also visit a Pella Middle School guitar class.
Neuman says that his mission is to share his gift and help others recognize their own gifts, talents, and abilities.
In addition to the classroom visits, the band is offering a free guitar workshop for guitar enthusiasts. The workshop is on Friday, March 4 from 5PM until 6PM at the Pella Opera House. The band will also be performing a live show at 7:30 that evening.
“Pete Neuman and the Real Deal” is a trio of young musicians from Wisconsin. The band was founded by brothers John and Pete Neuman and was later joined by Justin Wirth. They describe themselves as a “blues-influenced rock band.”
The guitar workshop, classroom visits, and performance are sponsored by the Pella Opera House.
