Oskaloosa–The spring college and high school sports seasons have either just begun or will be starting soon and the summer high school campaigns are just around the corner, and the Statesmen and Indian athletics departments would like to invite the media and public out to meet and hear from the coaches and players.

The First Annual Spring/Summer WPU/OHS Athletics Media and Community Night is being planned for next Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m. at Smokey Row. The event will include a brief question-and-answer portion with the coaches and players conducted by Wade Steinlage, the Director of Athletic Communications at William Penn.

William Penn teams that will be covered include baseball, men’s and women’s golf, softball, and men’s and women’s outdoor track and field, while Oskaloosa High School squads that will be covered include baseball, boys’ and girls’ golf, boys’ and girls’ soccer, softball, boys’ and girls’ tennis, and boys’ and girls’ track and field.

Following the Q&As, coaches will be available to meet with the public.
