Oskaloosa–The Statesmen women’s golf team has just one round under its belt this spring, but that has not impacted its rating as the NAIA’s fifth top-25 poll was released Friday.

WPU is once again #22 with 171 points. The Statesmen are the Heart of America Athletic Conference’s lone representatives. Morningside (#33) also represents the state of Iowa in the poll.

SCAD Savannah (Ga.) is still #1 with 465 points and 16 first-place votes. Dalton State (Ga.) is second with one first-place vote, while British Columbia is third with the final nod. USC Beaufort and William Woods (Mo.) round out the top five.

William Penn travels to Oklahoma City, Okla. next Monday and Tuesday to compete in the Oklahoma City Classic. Play will be contested at Lincoln Park West Golf Course.
