Williams Tabbed as NAIA Scholar-Athlete

Oskaloosa–David Williams (Jr., Victor, Iowa, Secondary Education) was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Thursday.
Williams, who owns a 3.94 Grade Point Average, is a first-time honoree. A total of 223 men’s cross country runners from within the NAIA were awarded the laurel.
To be eligible for the award, athletes must be of at least junior academic standing, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, and have attended the nominating institution for at least one full academic year.
