William Penn University hosts a presentation on railroads and railroading
The public is invited to attend a special presentation on Railroads and Railroading: Past, Present, and Future, as part of the William Penn University Chautauqua Speaker series, presented by Walt Smith and John Carl of Newton, Iowa. Smith, an industrialist and entrepreneur, and Carl, a retired radio executive, share a passion for the rails. The two have traveled the world to study and ride on railroads. During their presentation, Smith and Carl will share their experiences and photographs from their travels. The event will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the atrium of the Musco Technology Center, located on the northwest corner of the Oskaloosa campus. Admission is free and the presentation is open to the public.
