GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College outfield Sidney Litke had an impressive first weekend on the diamond and has been named the Midwest Conference (MWC) Performer of the Week.
Weekly Notes
Litke got her 2017 campaign off to a solid start by hitting .333 in two games against Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams. She belted an RBI double in a 2-1 loss to Macalester College and followed with a double in a 7-0 setback to Gustavus Adolphus College, a team receiving votes in the NCAA Division III national rankings. She also played errorless ball in the two games.
