Watercolor and Wine with Artist Deb Baughman at Tassel Ridge
Tassel Ridge is known for it’s wonderful assortment of wines, and they certainly are very good at finding ways of bringing in new people to try what they have to offer.
On Saturday March 12th, they offered lunch, watercolor instruction with Deb Baughman, an artist and instructor. Before lunch was served, Baughman was giving instruction on watercolors, and the group did some painting before the meal. The size of the class made it easy for everyone to enjoy, and allowed for good conversation with others. For this reason, class size is usually capped at 15.
In April, Tassel Ridge will be holding a similar event, but it will be with pastels.
Today at Tassel Ridge, Pella resident Helen Boertje will have a display of her handcrafted rugs from Noon until 4:00 p.m. She has demonstrated at Living History Farms, the State Fair, numerous historical celebrations around the state of Iowa.
