Registration Required!
On Friday, February 25th, the Mahaska County Conservation Board is offering a STEM Lab for Kids titled “Gravity Experiments” from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Environmental Education Center. This program will be a perfect activity for kids in the Oskaloosa and North Mahaska School Districts that are out of school for the day and for homeschooling families!
This program will teach kids about gravity on Earth and immerse them in a wide variety of gravity-related experiments and activities.
Kids coming to the STEM Lab have a home assignment to complete before the program. We will be having an Egg Drop Contest to see whose egg can survive a fall from the ELC balcony. So bring a raw egg and your creation that will protect your egg in the fall. We will see whose egg can survive. The winner will get a free ticket to attend the 2022 Youth Outdoor Field Day. Good luck and don’t miss this STEM lab!
