Statesmen 15th in BSN Top 25

Oskaloosa–Until the NAIA releases its first official poll of the year next week, the world of unofficial ratings will have to do, and they are doing just fine for the William Penn football team.

The Statesmen (1-0) are ranked #15 in the Beyond Sports Network ranking, moving up one spot from the previous poll.

Defending champion Saint Xavier (Ill.) is #1 with fellow MSFA Mideast League squad Marian (Ind.) second. Carroll (Mont.), Georgetown (Ky.), and St. Francis (Ill.) round out the top five. Other Iowa institutions in the poll are #8 Morningside and #9 Northwestern, while #15 Grand View and #23 St. Ambrose join and navy and gold and St. Francis (Ill.) as representatives of the MSFA Midwest League.
