Spring Break Finally Feels Like Spring

Area residents made the most of the warmth and sun on Wednesday, enjoying a local park or playgrounds

With highs on Wednesday reaching 68 degrees, with a mostly sunny sky, the sight and sound of kids playing in yards and playgrounds was a common occurrence.

The city park at Beacon was no exception with a steady stream of people looking to enjoy the day.

Harper, Lilly, Xylor and Violet were but just a few of those seen swinging and using the playground equipment, and the Southerly breeze helped feed the warmth.

Chances of rain with some thunder are in the forecast, but temps will continue to be near 70 degrees once again on Thursday with temps falling towards the lower 50’s by Friday and into the weekend, bringing the best chance for rain on Sunday.
