Oskaloosa, Iowa — Ghosts and goblins and superheros roamed the isle of the Oskaloosa Hy-Vee location on Saturday morning.

Debbie Guild, Hy-Vee Dietitian at the Oskaloosa store said that 100 gift bags were given out to youngsters in the first 10 minutes on Saturday.

Kids were able to trick or treat to the various departments in the store. Cookie and pumpkin decorating and coloring helped to keep the 350 kids that eventually make their way into the store busy.

Guild said that Halloween week is a fun time at the store as well. Employees get to dress up in costume all week, and the employees vote on who was the best dressed.
