RV-TV Stops in Oskaloosa

Channel 13’s RV-TV made its fourth stop of the week in Oskaloosa Thursday. The Channel 13 sports team occupied the east side of the city square. By 5 pm last night, a large crowd of Hawkeye and Cyclone fans had gathered all of whom were hoping to be put on TV. By 6:30 pm, the crowd had diminished but not without the memories they had made. The Channel 13 sports was prepping for the 10:00 show which would be delayed due to the NFL game being shown on NBC.

MUSCO was on hand to provide lighting for the sports casters during their show. The 13 sports team said that they had such a great experience two years ago that they felt they had to come back again this year. However, local business said that this year they had not had a big change in business “No. No change in business here” said a representative from Big Ed’s BBQ. Up until Wednesday night in Albia, the sports casters said that Oskaloosa two years ago had been the best night they had ever had on RV-TV. The sports casters will head to their final stop today before leaving to go to Iowa City tomorrow.

The big rival game will be shown on ABC Channel 5 with kick off set for 2:36 pm.
