Winning a conference match is always a great feeling. Closing out the season in 2nd place wasn’t were we wanted to be, but we are thankful to be in that position considering our inconsistent play we have had throughout the season. We did not have a good game tonight against Albia. We did do what we needed at times for the win, but we struggled. It is always hard to play to your level when you are playing not to lose. The mentality of this game is huge. Hopefully as we close out this last part of the season with playing consistent and to our abilities. We have a lot of talented volleyball players on this team. We will be playing in a tough tourney on Thursday down at Mepo, but it has usually been a tounrey we have played well allowing us to take that momentum into post season. I am proud of the work these girls have put in this season. We look forward to the next couple of weeks as we are nearing the end of the season.
