Oskaloosa Police remind people to designate a driver
The sign says it all
Lt. Plum stated that the Oskaloosa PD will have extra officers on patrol New Years Eve, and would like to remind people to designate a driver.
This year they will be targeting drinking and driving, speeders and general operations violators.
Plum stated that “typically in the past 5 years we don’t a problem of drinking and driving on New Years Eve because most of the cars that we pull over actually they have planned ahead and they do have designated drivers.”
“Plan ahead, get yourself a designated driver” is some good advice given by Plum.
