Oskaloosa Indian Booster Club

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Oskaloosa Indian Booster Club is November 8th at 6:30 in the Oskaloosa High School cafeteria.

During the meeting, many of the coaches from various sports such as basketball will be there to give updates on their teams and their sport and or activity to inform the group about how the money requested from group will be used for.

Recently the Indian Booster Club held a golf outing to raise money for the group. “Last year during our tournament we earned around $12,000.00 [which] we donated back to the school.” said Todd Carriker, President of the Oskaloosa Booster Club. He went on to explain that in the 2 years since they started back up, they have given “$80,000.00 back to the school in total; to be used towards the activities.”

The group is also helping to raise money for the new stadium project. In that endeavor they have helped to raise $70,000.00 for that project. They still need more help in reaching the $100,000.00 goal for that project.
