Oskaloosa Girl Scout Dessert Auction

Oskaloosa Girl Scouts will sponsor a dessert auction in April to raise funds to send Oskaloosa girls to camp. The auction will be held on Sunday, April 3 in Penn Central Mall’s Center Court at 1 p.m. and will continue until all desserts have been sold.
Individuals and businesses wishing to donate desserts to Girl Scouts should bring those items to the mall’s center court beginning at 11 a.m. the day of the event.
In conjunction with the auction, Oskaloosa Girl Scouts are invited to participate in a cake decorating contest to test their baking/decorating skills. Cakes will be judged in five categories — ugliest, yummiest, craziest, most patriotic and best use of a Girl Scout theme. All cakes made by girls will also be auctioned.
Other activities for families to enjoy during the event include a frozen T-shirt contest, face painting, and a Girl Scout cookie booth sale.
