Oskaloosa Boys Bowling Team Claims Conference Championship

The Oskaloosa Bowling teams bowled well at the recent conference tournament, with the boy’s team taking the win over; Newton, Knoxville, Pella, Norwalk, Bondurant-Farrar, and Pella Christian.

The girl’s team was edged by Newton, but they defeated the rest of the field.

Oskaloosa girls best single game went to Nikki Parlet with a 168. Maliyah Martin bowled a 162.

Parlet also bowled the high series for the team with a 306. Martin was next with a 294. Rylee Witt had a 289 series.

Jared Smith rolled the high game for the Oskaloosa boys team with a 248. Dylan VanWyk had a 236.

Smith rolled a 449 series to lead the Indians. Colton Stout had a 426 series while VanWyk rolled a 372.

Indians Head Coach Tony Witt congratulated the four Indians selected to 1st Team All-Conference. Those bowlers are; Jared Smith, Austin Czerwinski, Taylor Mathes, and Nikki Parlet.

Two Indians were selected for All-Conference honorable mention. Hunter Mason and Rylee Witt.
