Oskaloosa Bowling Teams Continue Strong Seasons with Wins at Bondurant-Farrar
The Oskaloosa bowling teams earned convincing victories over Bondurant-Farrar in their latest competition, with both teams showing strong performances. The boys’ team extended their undefeated season to 5-0, while the girls’ team improved to 4-1.
Boys Team Sets Season-High Score
The Oskaloosa boys’ bowling team posted their best score of the season, finishing with a team total of 3,147. Leading the charge was Trey VanWyk, who recorded the high two-game series of 458. VanWyk’s consistent performance was pivotal in the win. Close behind him was Cole VanderWal, who put together a solid 456 two-game series, including the highest game of the meet with an impressive 254.
Cale Armbruster also had a strong outing, finishing with a 442 two-game series. His efforts helped push the team to an excellent overall performance as the Indians maintained their perfect record.
Girls Team Improves to 4-1
On the girls’ side, Sidney Thompson led the way with a 378 two-game series, including a high game of 234. Thompson’s steady play kept Oskaloosa on track for the win. Ava Ridenour, making her return to varsity action, had a strong performance with a 352 series, demonstrating her consistency throughout the meet.
Regan Abrahamson also contributed with a solid 333 two-game series, helping the girls’ team to their fourth win of the season.
JV Boys Team Wins as Well
The Oskaloosa JV boys team also claimed a victory, led by Keagan Pierson, who posted games of 170 and 182 for a total of 352 over two games. The JV team’s performance demonstrated the depth of talent across the Oskaloosa bowling program.
