O’Reilly Claims First POW Award

Oskaloosa–Connor O’Reilly (Sr., Letterkenny, Ireland, General Accounting) had a part in several goals as he was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Monday.

O’Reilly garnered his first league accolade after helping the 14th-ranked Statesmen (4-0-1) to two victories and a tie, including knocking off #4 Oklahoma Wesleyan last Friday.

In the win over the Eagles, the senior scored a pair of goals, including a penalty-kick score.

Two days later versus Friends, O’Reilly put one shot in the net and assisted on another as the navy and gold collected a tie.

For the year, O’Reilly has tallied a team-best four goals with one assist.

The award is the first of the year for William Penn.
