All of the runners ran great and performed very well even though they weren’t prepared mentally to run 2 miles.
The girl’s placed 8th at the meet, but against their conference teams they got 3rd place. The boy’s tied with Marshalltown for 5th place, all 4A teams beat them leaving them to be the top team for our conference.

We went into this meet with goal times for a mile and half, they actually ran 2 miles and the middle school runners ran hard and well tonight. We know where we need to make our improvements in order to continue to progress, so we will be ready for our next meets building towards our conference meet. We have a really talented group of girls and boys on our middle school team and I am very proud of them.
