OMS Completes Last XC Meet

by Autumn Reisetter

The MS Girl’s and Boy’s completed their last XC meet of the season tonight. The weather was perfect and the runner’s all PR’ed from their previous run at Newton this season. This is only the second competitive 2 mile run they have ran all year and they worked hard. Unfortunately, the other schools dominated the top part of the race, resulting in us finishing in 5th place. I am proud of each of the runners on how they pushed hard all season and continuously improved their times throughout the season. I can’t wait to watch the 8th graders compete in HS and see how much the 7th graders improve by next season. Sage Adam finished 7th tonight and she fought hard to the end, while Patrick finished 10th working hard with a strong finish followed by Caden Ayala in 11th.
