New Stadium Plans Released

Oskaloosa Community Stadium Plans

The official plans for the new community stadium have been released. Friends of the Stadium, a committee made up of William Penn University, MCRF, Musco, and the Oskaloosa Booster club announced on August 16th that they have reached a final decision on the community stadium plans. The stadium will be composed of first-class artificial turf, soccer fields, and an all weather track and will be located at the Lacy Recreation Complex. This stadium will be available for use by William Penn University Athletics, as well as the Oskaloosa Community School District.

The plans also include ample parking, expanded restrooms, and family friendly facilities. The estimated cost of this project will be $7.5 million with fund raising efforts beginning later this fall. Gravel roadways are currently being paved by the City of Oskaloosa and Mahaska County to the Lacy Complex to make it a safer commute.
