Morris Leydens, 67, of Glenwood, Iowa passed away Thursday, March 15, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Morris Robert Leydens, son of Andrew and Doris (Hoover) Leydens was born May 3, 1950 in Iowa City, Iowa.

When Morris was young he moved to Glenwood, Iowa. Morris very much enjoyed being in nature. He loved spending time outside and evaluating which trees needed trimmed and which trees needed to be taken down. He took great pride in how his home looked. He loved going for walks and spending time with friends.

Morris worked for many years in laundry service, retiring in 2017.

Morris was an avid fisherman and went fishing every chance he got. He loved a good catfish dinner. Morris also enjoyed traveling each year to Camp Sunnyside, and the occasional trip to the Dude Ranch in Arkansas.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Paul Leydens.

Morris will be deeply missed by all of his friends and his family in Glenwood. He enjoyed spending visits with his special friends Kenny Jacobsen and Chris Atwood.

Funeral services for Morris will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Reverend Jon Nelson officiating.
Burial will be in the Old White Cemetery in Oskaloosa.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Langkamp Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Camp Sunnyside.
