Master Gardeners Speaker Series To Be Held

A Speaker Series will be hosted by the Mahaska County Master Gardeners Tuesday evenings in March held at the Mahaska County Extension Office Auditorium at 7 pm.   These meetings are free and open to the public.  All interested gardeners are encouraged to attend.  Master Gardeners will hold a food drive for the Ecumenical Cupboard at each session.

Speakers and topics for the Speaker Series are:

March 15–Compost with Chamness Technologies

March 22 –Iris with Patti Roland, Master Gardener Albia

March 29–My Favorite Plants with Bob Wilson, Wilson Gardens, Knoxville

Attendees are encouraged to come early and “Ask a Master Gardener” their gardening questions 6-6:30 pm prior to each speaker session.
