Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice Services Receives Award
MAHASKA COUNTY – Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice Services was recently the recipient of Deyta’s 1st Hospice Honors Award.
Hospice Honors is an annual award that recognizes the top 100 agencies that continually provide the highest level of patient satisfaction. The award is given by Detya, LLC, an industry leader in data driven management. Deyta used survey results compiled from the family’s evaluation of hospice care to determine the recipients of this prestigious award.
“We couldn’t be more proud of our Hospice Services staff for their important role in receiving this award,” said MHP Chief Operating Officer Erin Baldwin. “This honor goes to show that we are taking what we learn in our surveys and applying it to improve the patient experience.”
A Hospice Honors Celebration was held on April 25 at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Management and Leadership Conference in National Harbor, Md. There, a full list of 2013 Hospice Honors recipients was announced.
“Hospice Honors is yet another standard of excellence MHP uses to ensure that we are meeting the healthcare needs of you and your family,” Baldwin shared. “We strive to provide a positive experience where not only the patient, but their support person and family receive the highest quality of care our staff would expect for their own loved ones.”
MHP Hospice Services offers skilled nursing for those with progressive and life-threatening illness in homes, long-term care facilities, hospital settings and the MHP Hospice Serenity House.
