Mahaska County Soccer Club Begins Season

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Mahaska County Soccer Club began youth recreation and league soccer this past weekend a the Lacey Recreation Complex. Over 500 spectators came to watch league on Saturday and over 300 came for the recreation games on Friday evening. “This year is starting out exciting” said one mom watching her 6 year old son play. “So many young people playing, its lovely to watch,” added the players grandma. The games for recreation soccer are played every Friday night and league soccer travel some Saturdays and bring league teams to the complex to compete some Saturdays. The next league games are scheduled Saturday April 28th at the complex.
