Mahaska County Election 2014
Oskaloosa, Iowa – Voters in Mahaska County and around the state took to the polls on Tuesday, November 4th to decide who would represent them in government. Locally, voters placed members into positions from Mahaska Health Partnership to Mahaska County Supervisor and the Iowa Legislature.
In State-wide races, the Senate seat occupied by Tom Harkin was up for grabs. Voters have decided who will represent them in the U.S. House of Representatives. The resident at Terrace Hill has also been decided.
This should earn Iowan’s a break from the full mailboxes and constantly ringing phones for about two months, until potential presidential candidates start showing up in coffee shops around the state.
