Oskaloosa–Riley Ludwig (Jr., Big Bear City, Calif., Psychology) was instrumental in helping her team to two positive decisions last week and for her efforts she was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Monday.

Ludwig picked up her second career award by leading William Penn to a win over Missouri Valley and a tie against Baker, a team ranked #29 nationally.

The junior stopped 10 Viking shots Tuesday and then added another 12 saves for a shutout against the Wildcats Sunday. She has now tallied 104 saves (.867 save pct.) and has only allowed 16 total goals for a 1.39 Goals Against Average. Ludwig is 5-5-1 with three shutouts this fall.

The award is the fourth of the year for WPU.
