Loftus Named NAIA Scholar-Athlete

Oskaloosa–Logan Loftus (Sr., Marengo, Iowa, Industrial Technology) was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2016-2017 Daktronics-NAIA Wrestling Scholar-Athlete Friday.

Loftus, who owns a 3.63 Grade Point Average, is among 70 wrestlers from within the NAIA to be awarded the laurel. The academic laurel is the second for him.

To be eligible for the award, athletes must be of at least junior academic standing, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, and have attended the nominating institution for at least one full academic year.
