Keely Rhae Thoreson Kroes Brown, 37, formerly of Oskaloosa, passed away December 21, 2013.
Keely Thoreson was born July 12, 1976, in Spirit Lake, Iowa; daughter of William and Bonnie (Peterson) Thoreson. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School and resided in Oskaloosa most of her life and had recently been living in Iowa City.
Her family includes her daughters, Morgan Kroes and Grace Brown; mother, Bonnie Thoreson, of Iowa City; sister, Jaydee Duke (John) of Tiffin; best friend, Jason Kroes of Pella; aunt, Connie Kinnard and her children, Shelly, Jason and Jeremy Kinnard; nephew, Joshua Thoreson and niece, Harlee Bunnell.
Keely was preceded in death by her father, William.
A celebration of Keely’s life was held this past weekend at Stix Bar and Grill in Oskaloosa. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City is caring for Keely’s arrangements.
