Montezuma, Iowa | Age 6

Kaleb Clark, 6, of Montezuma passed away suddenly Wednesday afternoon, November 21, 2018. Kaleb Lee Clark, the son of Jeremy Clark and Victoria Cavin, was born on April 21, 2012 in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Kaleb was currently a 1st grader at Montezuma Community School where he loved P.E. and of course, Recess.

Kaleb was a fun-loving kid who always had a smile on his face and would cheer anybody up that was having a bad day. He touched many people’s hearts and had many close friends and enjoyed playing with his close family friends, Raymond and Jesse. Family was very important to Kaleb and was very close to his siblings. He would tell his mommy and daddy “I Love You” at least once a day. Kaleb enjoyed riding his bike and watching Paw Patrol. Kaleb loved the outdoors where he enjoyed camping; helping his dad build the camp fire and fishing; well not so much fishing, but he loved chasing his sister with the fish his dad caught. He also enjoyed Christmas and the winter months because he liked playing in the snow and sledding.

His memory will be cherished by his parents, Jeremy Clark and Vicky Cavin of Montezuma; his siblings, Dylan Cavin, Lexie Owens and Johnny Smith; paternal grandmother, Arna Kitzmann of Keswick; maternal grandmother, Mary Cavin of Ottumwa; great uncle and aunt, David and Brenda Fisch of Montezuma; and many other cousins, relatives, classmates and friends.

Kaleb was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John L. Clark; and his maternal grandfather, Dale Cavin.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Community Hope Church in Montezuma.
Burial will be held in Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.
Visitation will begin after 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home with the family present from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the family to help them through this trying time.
