Judith Baltimore, 73, of Oskaloosa died Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the MHP Emergency Room in Oskaloosa. She was born Thursday, August 9, 1945 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Helen Esler Carmichael.

Judy graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the Class of 1963.

On February 14, 1964, Judy was united in marriage to Gary L. Baltimore in Oskaloosa. Gary died in August of 2008.

Judy worked various places in the area including Superior Ideal. She later joined Gary team driving a Semi-truck over the road for many years. Last she went to work at Vermeer, retiring from there in 2010.

Judy enjoyed working outdoors, taking care of her yard. She also enjoyed cheering for the Bears and watching Nascar and traveling. She was a member of the First Christian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hat Ladies. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren. She always looked forward to attending their events.

Her family includes her two daughters: Tami (& Brad Cubit) Weller of Oskaloosa and Candi (& Troy) DeMoney of Rose Hill; three grandchildren: Cody (& Brea) Weller, Madison Weller and Brittany DeMoney; her mother, Helen Boyer of New Boston, Illinois; a brother, Gary (& Donna) Carmichael of Taylor Ridge, Illinois; a sister-in-law, Shirley (& Stan) Vander Hoek of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband and father.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Reverend Molly Goodrich officiating.
Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will begin Wednesday morning after 11 in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel from 5-7 Wednesday evening to greet friends and relatives.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church or the American Kidney Foundation.
