Indian Teams Split Matches Against Pella Christian
On Tuesday night, the A1 and A2 volleyball teams faced off against Pella Christian in a series of exciting matches at home. Both teams delivered strong performances, with the A1 team narrowly falling and the A2 team securing a victory.
In a hard-fought contest, the A1 team lost 1-2, with scores of 8-21, 21-18, and 7-15. Leading the team were Taylen Parker, who recorded three aces, four assists, and a dig, and Ally Goodman, who added three aces and a dig. Isis Edwards contributed three aces and a kill, while Sienna Stout chipped in with two aces, three kills, and a dig. Maci Ridenour also made her mark with two aces and a dig, and Aleigha Burton added an ace to the team’s efforts.
The A2 team, however, turned the tables with a 2-1 victory, winning with scores of 18-21, 21-18, and 15-7. Alivia Vandenberg stood out with six aces, while Kayla Carey recorded six aces and two kills. Kailynn Playle contributed three aces and an assist, and other top performers included Kasie Deppe with one assist and one kill, Chloe Landgrebe with two kills, and Maci Ridenour, who had one ace and one kill.
Both Indian teams will take the court again at home on Thursday, September 19, at 4:30 p.m. in a matchup against Pella.
