Oskaloosa Community School District is announcing the hiring of their new head football coach and Physical Education instructor, Jeff Barker. Coach Barker is a graduate of Marion High School where he was an All Conference and All Metro selection at running back and linebacker. Coach Barker received his BA from Iowa State and his MA from Drake University.

Coach Jeff Barker’s coaching experiences are 4 years as assistant coach at North Scott High School (4A Mississippi Athletic Conference), 6 years as Head Coach at NW Webster High School in Manson, Iowa, and 9 years as Defensive coordinator at Winterset High School.

Mr. Barker is married to Angela and has a son Jack and daughter Danny.
