Greaves, Milder Sweep Heart POW Awards

Oskaloosa–Alexander Greaves (Sr., Hertford, England, Sports Management) and Sil Milder (Fr., Arnhem, Netherlands, Sports Management) helped the Statesmen men’s soccer team put together a strong week, earning recognition as Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week on Monday.

Greaves, who was chosen as the league’s Offensive POW (second time this year), and Milder, who was named the Defensive POW (third award), led William Penn to 4-0 wins over both Clarke last Tuesday and MidAmerica Nazarene last Saturday.

Greaves scored goals in both matches, including two against Clarke and one with an assist against MidAmerica Nazarene.

Milder shut out both teams during the week, finishing with two saves versus CU and another against MNU.

For the year, Greaves has nine goals and four assists, while Milder has 40 saves, 11 shutouts, and a 0.44 Goals Against Average.

WPU now has eight weekly awards this year.
