Greaves Earns First Career POW Award

Oskaloosa–Alexander Greaves (Sr., Hertford, England, Sports Management) had a big part in his team’s offensive outings, and for his efforts he was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the week Monday.

Greaves picked up his first career weekly award after leading William Penn to a pair of wins last week.

In last Tuesday’s 4-1 victory over Mount Mercy, the senior scored what proved to be the game-winning goal.

He then put an exclamation point on last Saturday’s 6-0 triumph over William Woods, tallying the final two goals of the contest. The goals were separated by just 74 seconds.

Greaves is currently tied for the team lead in goals (6), assists (2), and points (14).

The laurel is the fourth of the year for WPU.
